Some of the information here are brief summary of what I have discovered about CDT in the Forums and what is in CDT’s official website which you can also find at www.cdtforever.com/dtp . At CDT official website, you can read more and learn about CDT yourself. It’s recommended that you click on the links on the left side under “DTP System Analysis” and “Diamond Trader Resources” though if you trust me, you don’t really have to do that! I’ve spent hours and hours, researching CDT!

Here are some common questions and answers that I have seen people ask of CDT. Of course, I asked myself all those questions (and possibly more!) before I decided to get into the program!

**************************

Q: Do I ever have to pay more than the original $120 (or $520) diamond deposit?

A: NO! The first time you ever pay CDT will be your final time paying them, with the exception of a scoop of the $500 diamond deposit (from your $3000 pay-out) to re-enter a DTP after you have cycled out. You definitely want to do that! BUT, nothing else comes out of YOUR POCKET after the initial diamond deposit of $120 or $520! Zip! Zilch! Nada! Nothing!

Q: Can anybody really join CDT?

A: Yes, any adult is eligible to register. According to the Independent Diamond Trader Agreement to which you agree when you register: “...The DTP is available only to, and may only be used by, individuals who can form legally binding contracts under applicable law. Without limiting the foregoing, our program is not available to children (persons under the age of 18) ...”

Q: What if I decide to quit after being unsuccessful?

A: There is a 2 year money back guarantee, if you have 2 sales within the first year and by the 2nd year you have not completed the DTP program. Then, you would get a refund of the diamond deposit in FULL. But, if you have not made any sales or only one sale, then you will receive a diamond, which is the same value as your diamond deposit. Either with money or products, you are still getting your whole refund if you ever decide to quit. But, I highly doubt this would happen to you, with such a terrific program as CDT.

Q: Is this an investment?

A: In my own personal opinion, this program sure is an investment. In the feeder program, you start with a $120 deposit on a diamond... In the end of the feeder program, you get $500 but that goes to your deposit on a bigger diamond that is the DTP (Diamond Trader Program). You also get a diamond worth $400 +. Just by completing the feeder program, you already got more than what you paid! Then, after you complete DTP, you are going to get $3000 (but naturally, most people choose to have the $500 go to re-enter the DTP.) and you will also get a bigger diamond that is worth $2500 +. In the very end, you end up with $2500, TWO diamonds AND an opportunity to get some more diamonds and money! So, this definitely IS an investment. If you opt to start with a $520 diamond deposit and get on the DTP, you also can do that without going through the feeder program. Either way, you still get much more than what you started with.

Q: Can I really invest on diamonds? What do I do with diamonds?

A: In the history of diamonds, the face value of diamonds mostly remains the same OR increases annually. Therefore, chances are that if you decide to collect the diamonds for awhile, that is another investment! In fact, diamonds are a better investment than most objects since they are so very hard and they display a little or no wear over the years. The Certified-Plus Diamonds has provided charts showing the price performances for diamonds since 1986 and it shows that diamond prices has increased solidly. Some qualities have increased as much as 80% since 1986, only 20 years! You can see the Certified-Plus Diamonds charts at www.drostes.com/history-html Other than collecting the diamonds, you can definitely sell them, mostly to jewelers, for cash fast, which would be at the approximate face value, if you act immediately after receiving it.

Q: Is there a “support group” where I can talk with people for some advice, ideas and more?

A: YES, there is a Forum where you can post your questions, read other people’s ideas of promoting CDT, get to know more people in the CDT community and mostly learn about CDT. (I read throughout a lot of the Forum, which made me feel really confident, as it was helpful.) Different people need different paths to succeed so the forums can help you. And, then you can help your team members also!

Q: Why should I sign my email address up to subscribe to your website?

A: If you sign up to subscribe to my emails in my website, then I will email you an outline on how to register step-by-step so that you can do it at home without having me there. Also, I will send you the update on my progress in CDT. I’ll be sure to send you some emails of “support” so that our tables can see some action!

Q: How long is a cycle?

A: The actual answer actually depends on the progress of your team on your table. If each new referral get at least a sale within the first 30 days, then you are on a roll! When your table split, you got to do the same thing: either get more referrals or encourage the new referrals to get their own referrals also. There are four levels on each table. There are 8 miners, 4 cutters, 2 polishers and 1 collector. Whenever you are in ANY level, it still is the same: there must be miner positions filled up on your table in order for you to move up. When you are the collector and you cycle out, that is when you receive your money and diamond.

Q: What is the average cycle time of a typical member?

A: According to what I found, the average cycle time is 1 month in the feeder program and 2-3 months in the DTP. The fastest cycle time is less than an hour (I’m assuming, at a CDT workshop) and the longest has been ten months where some slow members have not yet cycled out. I don’t know when this figure was last updated. BUT, the main thing is that it really bases on the sales effort of the entire team.

Q: What are freebees?

A: There are two types of freebees: permanent and temporary. The first one is from anybody who registers into the program without any referrals. They will then become a part your permanent family! This is such a jackpot! Other than being on the table without completing two sales, you get this person for life. The second one could be because someone in your downline referred this person so you get the freebee but this is only temporary as this freebee will go to the original person who made the referral in the next cycle in DTP.

Q: Are there any shortcuts to become collectors, besides receiving a freebee on my table?

A: Yes, only if you are in the cutter position, as miners can never jump. There are four methods. The first one is that you can jump from the cutter position to the collector position if you made at least two sales to qualify and the polisher above you have not had any sales or only one. The second way is similar to the first, only if you have only one sale and the polisher have none. These results in having you skip the polisher position. The third one applies only to the DTP, not the feeder program. This is a possibility of skipping the polisher position is that you have generated sales right away from the moment you enter DTP and the polisher has not had his two sales yet. The last method is rare but does happen. You are either the polisher or the cutter and all the people in those positions have not made their two sales. Suppose the efforts of the miners were tremendous and the 8 positions have been filled. Therefore, the table has to split and the system has no choice but to promote one of the polisher or cutter to be a collector even though that person technically is not eligible to go to the collector position.

Q: If I am in the feeder program, can I still refer a DTP?

A: Yes, this person will go onto the table of your closest relative on your upline who is on a DTP table. However, this person will follow you when you enter the DTP as your referrals always follow YOU!

Q: But what if I’m a DTP, can I still refer a feeder?

A: It is a sure thing you can. Actually, feeders are the one who pushes the positions on the DTP up because when there are collectors cycling out of feeder programs, they come to DTP. This person, again, will go to your closest relative in your family. Keep in mind, your sales will ALWAYS follow YOU.

Q: After I complete the cycle and re-enter the DTP, do I have to get more referrals?

A: Not really, since you have to already have your original two sales to cycle at first. But, more referrals could always help. Your referrals, no matter how many people, will follow YOU every time they enter the DTP as a miner. Their referrals will always follow them so you will always have their referrals on your table. As you can see, after you get more and more people in your downline, you can pass through the cycle REPEATEDLY. There is also the freebee system and your table might be the lucky one occasionally with a new member on your table. What an awesome way to share the wealth with your family and friends!

Q: How do my referrals follow me if the table splits when the miners’ positions are filled?

A: That is true that your referrals will not always be on your table. The reason of this is that there are more positions needed when the table gets full. Every time you advance your position (from miner to cutter, cutter to polisher and polisher to collector), the table always have to split therefore you will not always see all of your referrals on your table. In spite of this, when your referrals begin in the DTP, they will always follow you. That shows that your referrals are always linked to YOU forever and you will meet them on your table from time to time. Your referrals will always seek you out whenever they re-enter the cycle as a miner. You follow your leader for every new DTP cycle. Your referrals follow you and their referrals follow them, making an amazing chain of sales that help everybody cycle over again and again.

Q: Is CDT a scam?

A: The definition of a scam according to www.dictionary.com is “A fraudulent business scheme; a swindle." The company promoting a scam would use false information to swindle money from people and run off. CDT has a real BRICK building in Toronto. CDT was successfully selling diamonds to brokers and jewelers for two years before starting the DTP. The original purpose of DTP is to sell more diamonds. 98% of CDT’s profits comes from the diamonds with 2% of it coming from the $5 administration fee that is used to cover overhead such as the toll-free number, merchant services and more. The ones who are making the rest of the profit are the people who participate in the DTP! There is NOBODY way up there at the very top being wealthy, thanks to your work. With CDT, this is a CYCLE that keeps on moving you up and then back to the bottom and up again. How can this plan fail? Also, I personally know of three people who have received their diamonds, including the person who referred me. One other person even cycled through the DTP twice! So, they are living proof that this system works!

Q: Is this an illegal pyramid?

A: If you want a short version of the answer, the answer is NO! There is no “rich guy on the top” as this is a revolving system so that the people at the top go back to the bottom pushing the people at the bottom up to the top, allowing everyone to success repeatedly! And, you are selling a product, which in this case, are diamonds.

A2: If you want a longer version of the answer, the answer is still NO! CDT is registered with the American Chamber of Commerce as well as notarized by a Government-level lawyer and registered with the Ontario Management Board of Cabinet (Canadian Provincial Government). According to the Competition Bureau of Canada, CDT’s business plan is not outlined as a pyramid. An Attorney General of Maryland said that it is not the government’s job to opine whether a company is illegal or not UNLESS there has been a legal action taken against CDT and there has been none taken ever since CDT started in late 2003. CDT does not force people to buy diamonds to become a member. CDT only asks that successful members use part of their commission to purchase diamonds from them, making it a win-win situation, because CDT makes its money from selling diamonds. Again, 98% of CDT’s profits comes from the diamonds with 2% of it coming from the $5 administration fee that is used to cover overhead such as the toll-free number, merchant services and more. When we are promoting CDT, we are selling diamonds to people. We can even tell them to buy a diamond from CDT store without joining the program by purchasing a diamond deposit. Anyone who buys a diamond deposit has already bought a product. The reason we don’t get it immediately is we get a higher valued diamond after cycling out (which is what we would prefer!) as opposed compared to a low valued diamond that is worth $120 if you receive if you decide to quit. Above all, with illegal pyramids, if anyone quits, not only that person loses money but also the pyramid will collapse. Under CDT's business plan, we can quit anytime and get a diamond equivalent to the amount we paid for the deposit OR if we got 2 sales within the first year and are not successful, we get our money back. By quitting CDT, it won’t cause the other people on your downline to lose money or collapse the table. So, whether we stay or quit, we still get either our money back or get a product AND everybody else can go on with their businesses. So, the bottom line is that with illegal pyramids, people LOSE money, period and with CDT, nobody does!

Q: Is this a FAIR program?

A: The main thing that makes me feel positive that this is a fair program is that there is a computer system that determines who goes where. It will equally balance teams with various mathematics equations. Even if you find a person on your table with no sales, sometimes that could be good because there is a chance of having you skip a level and quickly become a collector! It remains FAIR with no human decisions of favoritism.

Q: What do you think you should do when you see a good opportunity?

A: You got to grab the excellent opportunity to become a part of the Canadian Diamond Traders, Inc. NOW and then help your family and friends build their financial stability too! You got nothing to lose.

Q: How can I ask more questions, if needed?

A: Email me at StarDiamond@charter.net or VP me at 952-953-0633.
